Immaculate Ascension

This is the story of a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Switzerland that I managed to glom onto. My visit coincided with the Passportes du Soleil, an every-summer event that leads hundreds of riders on a gravity-fueled romp from France to Switzerland and back again, covering 50 miles via a dozen-plus chairlifts, and food stops in the 9 resorts along the way that will blow your mind. Certainly the best 45 € lift ticket money can buy.
